While WebCatalog Desktop includes a built-in dark theme for the app interface, it does not control the appearance of the websites and web apps you open inside it. Whether a specific app supports dark mode depends entirely on the website itself.
If the website you’re using does not provide a dark theme, it will appear in light mode by default—even when WebCatalog is in dark mode.
Use Dark Reader to apply dark mode
To help with this, WebCatalog includes an optional feature called Dark Reader. Dark Reader automatically generates a dark theme for websites that don’t support one. It adjusts the page’s colors to create a dark appearance, which can make it more comfortable to view in low-light environments.
Note: Because Dark Reader modifies the page styling, it may occasionally cause visual or functional issues on certain websites. If this happens, you can disable it at any time.
How to enable Dark Reader
Open the App or Space settings.
Go to the Appearance section.
Enable the Dark Reader toggle.
