Most paid video and music streaming platforms use Widevine DRM, a digital rights management technology that protects copyrighted content. Unfortunately, WebCatalog Desktop doesn’t currently support Widevine DRM due to technical limitations.
Because of this, streaming services that depend on Widevine—such as Netflix, Spotify, and similar platforms—cannot run properly on WebCatalog Desktop and are therefore unavailable or hidden within the app.
